A.T. Furthur: Daze Between was an eclectic art gathering celebrating the legacy of the Acid Tests produced by Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters in the mid-60s. The original Prankster Acid Tests were created as multi-media art parties where exciting, new, and still legal entheogens were imbibed in the spirit of breaking new creative ground.
A.T. Furthur is now the secret code for an Acid Test style party.
We recognize the importance of the Acid Test "scene" - the lights, music, people, weirdness, costumes, toys, words, and the generally unexpected! First on the Haight, and again with neo-psychedelic gatherings like Burning Man, the emphasis on interactive creative art has brought people together eager to celebrate.
